Class Descriptions


Ashtanga:

Ashtanga with Zoë is a wonderfully dynamic practice! Taught in classical sequence encompassing: physical Asana practice with Bandhas, philosophy, chanting and breath work. Zoë is a free spirit with a love for body art and spiritualism. Join her on the mat for a heady, vigorous Yoga practice coupled with soft, beautiful chanting and feel the magic flood the mind during relaxation afterwards.


Rocket:

Rocket is a fast paced, fun, and challenging class! You can expect a modified Ashtanga sequence practiced to music, with plenty of chances to play with arm balances and inversions! Open to all levels as modifications and progressions will be given to make this practice accessible to everyone who is up for a strong and sweaty practice.


Yin:

Yin is a gentle and slow practice with poses held for longer periods of time. Yin Yoga is particularly beneficial for joint health and works using the Chinese Meridian System.


Yin & Yang:

Yin & Yang classes are the perfect balanced practice! You can expect to begin practice with Pranayama (Yogic Breathing exercises) or Meditation before moving into a few Yin postures. We will then move into more dynamic, or Yang, practice which is great for building cardiovascular and muscular fitness. This portion of the class will draw from Ashtanga, Rocket, Hatha, & Mandala Yoga traditions. Each class will be different but will always end with a few blissful minutes of relaxation in Savasana.
