Discover my teacher Matthew Sweeney's gentle, yet comprehensive Moon Sequence (Chandra Krama). This is a flowing practice perfect for all levels, especially beginners. Unlike faster-paced vinyasa, this sequence focuses on deep hip opening, soothing the nervous system, and building internal awareness. It's a therapeutic, balanced (sattvic) practice that relieves tension in the wrists and shoulders while honoring your body's natural limits. This is the perfect balance to a more dynamic practice such as Ashtanga. Leave feeling grounded, nourished, and deeply peaceful.
The only prerequisite is that you must be able to kneel comfortably on your heels, even if this is elevated on a block and with a blanket under your knees.
